Exhibition On Brownsea Island
I have now set up my first ever exhibition of students work on Brownsea Island in the visitors centre. The work was carried out last year when I took a number of students over to the island and we stayed one weekend in October at the South Shore Lodge. They collected various bits and pieces including leaves and driftwood and produced some excellent work. This is the work on display. The feedbaqck so far has been tremendous and everyone has been giving positive comments on the work they have veiwed. We are going to do the same thing again this May and later in October. If anyone wishes to come over to the island and stay at the South Shore Lodge and complete a textile piece they can contact me and I will give them full details. However, the May course is coming up very soon and if you want to go you will need to let me know ASAP and forward the money to secure your place. My phone number is 01202 731562.

Undiscovered Fossil
This is the picture of a new cushion specifically made for the Bournemouth Natural Science Society’s exhibition of Fool’s Experiments, celebrating Darwin’s 200 years Origin of the Species. 24th August to 5th September at the BNSS Christchurch Road, Bournemouth.
Finally I have got the picture where I want it, what a hassle for my first time, however I do expect to get better at this.
